A church which celebrates and affirms every person
Inclusive Church
We are proud to be members of the inclusive church network a network of churches, groups and individuals uniting together around a shared vision.
We fully endorse the inclusive church statement:
We believe in inclusive church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate.
We will continue to challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality.
We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.”
Our building
Our building is fully accessible, the main car park to the rear has stepped access to the building. There is parking at the front which is not time limited for blue badge holders, the front door has two shallow steps. For level access ring the bell by the handrail and we’ll put out a ramp.
Inside there is an accessible toilet, hearing loop and BSL interpretation as required. If there is anything else we can do to make out building, meetings and community more welcoming and accessible we’d love to hear from you, click the green “contact us” button below.
